Today we are going to talk about the Three Team Strategy found in my book Betting Baseball 101: Winning at the Sports Books and Daily Fantasy Baseball!
There isn’t a day that goes by when someone doesn’t ask me how I can be as successful as I am while somehow managing to pick winners in multiple sports.
What they are looking for is my secret.
What these kind folks really want is a free system where they can do as little as possible yet achieve maximum results.
Some would say this system of not doing much of anything while still profiting really does exist and they show me mostly anonymous handicappers found on social media.
Sometimes you just have to laugh at the absurdity of it all.
Anyway, I don’t have an easy system at all but the one that takes the least amount of time is my Three Team Strategy.
You’ll have to work at this a bit but it’s the easiest system in terms of research and time actually spent. Check it out from Betting Baseball 101!
The Three Team Strategy
Something I find useful, especially early in the season, is limiting my action to just three teams.
The idea behind this system is to only focus on three teams and bet every game that these three teams are involved in.
Essentially you are chasing information about only these three teams and of course, you will have to handicap the opposing team. You are free to bet for or against your three teams of choice, but you want to wager on just those three teams for at least the first thirty days of the new season.
Two things are going to happen; you will become an expert and know as much about your three teams as the most diehard fan and after maybe thirty days or so you will have handicapped nearly every MLB team.
The secret is to keep a notebook and track not only your three teams but every team that you handicap throughout the season. This is done so that you can become more knowledgeable about the teams and this should help make it easier to spot value.
Don’t forget to pick up your copies of Betting Baseball 101 and Betting Football 101. Everything that you need to know in order to become a better sports handicapper can be found on the pages of those two books. Look for Betting Basketball 101 and Betting Hockey 101 in 2021!
