Green Bay Packers vs Minnesota Vikings
Green Bay is a one point away favorite when they face Minnesota at US Bank Stadium. The Packers have won four of their last five and the Vikings have won three of its past five contests.
Green Bay is 9-1-0 ATS and 5-0-0 ATS as the away side. The Packers are nineteenth in scoring while allowing a third-best eighteen points per contest. They have top twenty numbers in nearly all the major offensive and defensive categories and are the least penalized team in the National Football League. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers has thrown for 2186 yards, seventeen TD’s with four interceptions. RB Aaron Jones is out and that might cause some trouble for the Packers offense.
Minnesota is 5-4-0 ATS and 1-3-1 ATS at home this season. The Vikings are fourteenth in scoring but their 23.44 points allowed is sixteenth in the League. Minnesota is seventh in Red Zone Efficiency and first in sacks per game but last in the league in penalty yards per game and thirty-first in penalties per contest. Kirk Cousins has tossed eighteen TD’s with just two picks good for 2434 yards.
We like the Packers in this spot. This is a big game for the Vikings and Cousins is a big stats QB but not a big-game QB. The Packers defense is good and it’s tough to score on them…Vikings RB Dalvin Cook might have a HUGE day against the Packers bottom twenty rushing defense but Cousins is going to have a tough time against a Packers passing defense allowing the third least passing yards per game. Look for Rodgers and Davante Adams to connect on a couple of big plays against the fourteenth ranked Vikings passing defense and that’s all she wrote. Consider taking Green Bay to cover the spread.
Cash with Flash Sunday NFL Pick: Green Bay -1 point
Dallas Cowboys vs Kansas City Chiefs
Dallas is a 2.5 point away underdog when they meet Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium. Dallas has won four of their last five while Kansas City is riding a three-game winning streak.
Dallas has been more than solid and sans a poor home showing against the Denver Broncos they’ve covered the spread in eight of their nine contests with an ATS record as the away side of 5-0-0. The Cowboys are first in scoring, tenth in points allowed and Dak Prescott has thrown for 2341 yards, twenty scoring strikes with five interceptions. Wideout Amari Cooper has been ruled out but Prescott has plenty of weapons to deploy against a very beatable Chiefs defense.
Kansas City has been on a roller-coaster this season but is 3-7-0 ATS overall and 0-5-0 ATS as the home side. The Chiefs are tenth in scoring, twentieth in points allowed and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes has thrown for 2940 yards, twenty-five TD’s alongside ten interceptions but just two interceptions over his last five contests.
We like Dallas in this spot. While it’s difficult to take just 2.5 points, Dallas is much easier to trust than Kansas City. The Cowboys offense has been impressive with an opportunistic defense averaging nearly two interceptions per contest. Kansas City has an explosive offense of their own but has scored thirty or more points only twice in their last five games. Dallas is 2-1-0 ATS over their last three meetings and we like their chances to cover the spread Sunday. Consider taking the 2.5 points and rolling with Dallas.
Cash with Flash Sunday NFL Pick: Dallas Cowboys +2.5 points Over 55.5 points
Cincinnati Bengals vs Las Vegas Raiders
Cincinnati is a 1.5 point away favorite when they head to Vegas to meet the Raiders. The Bengals have lost two straight and three of their last five games while Las Vegas is also hoping to shake a two-game losing streak and has also lost three of its past five contests.
Cincinnati was sailing right along but has dropped three of their last five and were blown out two weeks ago at home by Cleveland. Thankfully for them they’ve had two weeks to prepare for this one and are 4-5-0 ATS overall but 3-2-0 as the away side. The Bengals are ninth in scoring, eleventh in points allowed and QB Joe Burrow has thrown for 2497 yards, twenty TD’s with eleven interceptions and is coming off a two interception game in their blowout loss against the Browns.
Las Vegas has dealt with too much off-field drama but is 2-3 over their last five and looking to snap a two-game losing streak. Vegas is 4-5-0 ATS overall but is 2-3-0 ATS at Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders are seventeenth in scoring, twenty-sixth in points allowed and QB Derek Carr has slung it for 2826 yards, fifteen TD’s along with eight interceptions with four picks over his last three starts.
We like Cincinnati in this spot. Both offenses can be hit or miss but the Bengals defense is likely the best unit on the field for either side. The Bengals defense allows the eighteenth most total yards per game but opponents have a tough time scoring against the Bengals but their 1.6 Red Zone TD’s per game is going to make things tough on the inefficient Raiders Red Zone offense. The Burrow to Chase TD combo might have a big night as Las Vegas allows nearly two passing touchdowns per contest. Consider laying the point and taking Cincinnati to cover the spread.
Cash with Flash Sunday NFL Pick: Cincinnati Bengals -1 point Under 50 points
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Los Angeles Chargers
Pittsburgh (5-3-1) is a six-point underdog when they meet Los Angeles (5-3) Sunday evening. The Steelers have won four-straight but tied the Detroit Lions last week at home. Los Angeles has won two of its last five and suffered a week-ten 27-20 home loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
Pittsburgh committed three turnovers last week in their tie with Detroit and is unsure who will start at QB Sunday. Ben Roethlisberger will start Sunday and he’s thrown ten TD passes with just four interceptions. Pittsburgh is twenty-fifth in points scored, eighth in points allowed and has allowed twenty-one points or less in four of their last five contests.
Los Angeles is fifteenth in scoring, twenty-fifth in points allowed and opponents have scored more than twenty-five points in four of their past five contests. Chargers QB Justin Herbert has thrown nineteen touchdowns alongside seven interceptions with four picks over the past two contests.
We like Pittsburgh in this one. Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin and his Pittsburgh teams are 30-18-1 ATS as away underdogs since 2007. Pittsburgh has been hot and a couple of turnovers away from a five-game winning streak. Los Angeles hasn’t enjoyed much success lately; Herbert has thrown four picks over his last two starts and is up against a Steelers pass defense allowing a fifteenth best 236 passing yards per game. T.J. Watt has been ruled out and that might make things a bit easier on Herbert but this is still a stifling Steelers defense. The Chargers defense has been leaky, allowing twenty-five points per game or more and while the Steelers offense isn’t explosive it’s good enough to get the job done on Sunday. Especially with Roethlisberger behind center. Consider taking the points and rolling with Pittsburgh to cover in this contest.
