The Phil Naessens Show has been around for thirteen seasons and we do a bit of everything; from daily sports betting info and picks to interviews with legendary sports bettors as well as professional handicappers, we cover it all. We discussed the NFL Coach of the Year odd and gave our picks for tonight’s New England Patriots-Buffalo Bills contest on Monday’s podcast.
Covid-19 is rearing its ugly head again and we have to be mindful of this. The Dallas Cowboys will be without their Head Coach tonight and LeBron James is going to miss a bunch of games. Our daily free picks are usually published by 2:00 pm; we strongly suggest that you check out the latest injury reports before placing a wager. We use the pages of NBC Sports Edge and we believe you will find this site useful and extremely accurate.

College Football Pick
We’re somehow staying afloat with our college football picks and currently boasting a 52-40-1 mark this season. We hit Pittsburgh -3 points Saturday and we’ll absolutely have Bowl Game picks available for purchase.
The Red Wings won Saturday night in overtime and that leaves us with a 4-10-0 mark this season. Let’s see if we can get back on track tonight!
Be sure and listen to Wednesday’s Phil Naessens Show. Zach from PickProfit joins the pod and runs through the entire 32-team league dropping knowledge like no one else can. We’ll leave the player below!
Ottawa Senators vs New Jersey Devils
Ottawa enters this one riding a two-game winning streak and meets a New Jersey Devils club looking to end a three-game losing streak. Anton Forsberg (3-4-0) is the Sens probable starting goaltender and Mackenzie Blackwood (4-3-2) is expected to patrol the cage for New Jersey.
We like Ottawa tonight. This could be a great game to watch but not if you are a Devil’s fan. Ottawa has been hot with thirteen goals scored over their past five games. The Sens have had trouble winning games on the road but did take out Carolina to start their two-game winning streak. New Jersey has seen better days but they appear healthy but have allowed 24 goals over their last five contests. Forsberg has allowed nineteen goals over his past five games but the club has won in his last two starts. Blackwood has allowed fifteen goals over his past five matchups and New Jersey are 1-4-0 with a shootout loss in his last five appearances. Consider Ottawa on the moneyline tonight.
Cash with Flash Monday NHL Pick: Ottawa Senators +155
Free College Basketball Pick
A 18-16-1 record thus far has been disappointing and we lost Saturday with our Vanderbilt pick. We’ve enjoyed a nice comeback from being down 0-5 to start the season…..
Towson Tigers vs Kent State Golden Flashes
Towson enters this contest riding a two-game winning streak and is a five-point away underdog when they meet a Kent State Golden Flashes side that has won four of their past five contests.
We like Kent State tonight. Towson is a decent team but they won’t be able to match the better shooting Golden Flashes. Kent State is one of the best free-throw shooting squads in the country and it’s too bad they don’t get to the charity stripe enough to really take advantage of this. That being said, Kent State is the better three-point shooting team and one of the best at defending the triple. Kent State is also the better passing team but turnovers have been an issue this season. Towson has played one of the easiest schedules in the country and their numbers might be a bit inflated. Consider laying the points and taking Kent State to cover the spread tonight.
Cash with Flash Monday CBB Pick: Kent State -5 points
We’re limping along with a 38-47-0 record with three plus-money underdogs. It’s been a tough go thus far and we’re more than due to make a big NBA run. We missed on Oklahoma City failing to cover an eleven-point spread.
Atlanta Hawks vs Minnesota Timberwolves
Atlanta enters this contest hoping to end a two-game losing streak and Minnesota is also trying to halt a two-game losing skid when the two squads meet tonight at 8:00 pm eastern.
We like Minnesota tonight. Neither side has played well recently and both sides have injury concerns heading into tonight, most notably Karl-Anthony Towns and D’Angelo Russell are both listed as questionable. Atlanta lost a winnable game last night to Charlotte and they just don’t look right on either end of the floor. Timberwolves Anthony Edwards has really come into his own this season and it’s going to be tough keeping him off of the scoreboard. Atlanta is 1-8-0 ATS in their last nine away games and its difficult to trust them tonight against Minnesota. Consider laying the 2.5 points and taking Minnesota to cover.
Cash with Flash Monday NBA Pick: Minnesota Timberwolves -2.5 points
Good luck today!
