College Football Pick
We’re somehow staying afloat with our college football picks and currently boasting a 51-40-1 mark this season. We hit Utah and the under last night. We’ll have FREE plus PREMIUM Championship Saturday picks posted on Friday afternoon.
Pittsburgh Panthers vs Wake Forest Demon Deacons
We have the ACC Championship set for 8:00 pm eastern. Pittsburgh is 9-3-0 ATS while Wake Forest has covered the spread in six of their twelve contests this season.
We like Pittsburgh laying three points tonight. We could see plenty of offensive fireworks at Bank of America Stadium but the team with the better defense is going to win this one and Pitt definitely has the better defense of the two. Pitt ranks second in the country in sacks and up against a Wake Forest offensive line allowing QB Sam Hartman to get sacked twenty-six times this season and seventeen times in their last five games. Pitt QB Kenny Pickens has tossed seven interceptions this season and six over his last five contests. He’s up against a Demon Deacons defense with thirteen interceptions this season. This could be a fun, high-scoring game for sure but the defense of Pitt is where the edge is. Consider laying the three-points and going with Pittsburgh to cover.
Cash with Flash Saturday NCAAF Pick: Pittsburgh -3 points
The New York Islanders suffered an overtime loss and that leaves us with a 3-10-0 mark this season. Let’s see if we can get back on track tonight!
Be sure and listen to Wednesday’s Phil Naessens Show. Zach from PickProfit joins the pod and runs through the entire 32-team league dropping knowledge like no one else can. We’ll leave the player below!
New York Islanders vs Detroit Red Wings
New York has lost nine straight and meet a Red Wings club riding a four-game winning streak. New York expects Ilya Sorokin (5-6-3) to make the start and Alex Nedeljkovic (7-3-3) should be patrolling the crease tonight for Detroit. Game time tonight is 7:00 pm eastern.
We like the Red Wings in this one. New York has been plagued by injuries, Covid-19 interrupted their season and even though they’ve dropped nine straight contests they are getting healthier and should have beaten the San Jose Sharks Thursday night. The Islanders are also 4-2-0 as favorites and have scored just four goals in their last five contests. Detroit is playing well and has scored fourteen goals over their last five contests but is just 8-9-0 as the underdog. Detroit has one of the worst penalty kill units in hockey up against the worst power play unit in the league and that’s where the edge will be found in this one. Consider Detroit tonight on the moneyline.
Cash with Flash Saturday NHL Pick: Detroit Red Wings -105
Free College Basketball Pick
A 18-15-1 record thus far has been disappointing but we won Thursday night when Wright State covered a four-point spread. We’ve enjoyed a nice comeback from being down 0-5 to start the season…..
Vanderbilt Commodores vs SMU Mustangs
Vanderbilt is riding a three-game winning streak and meets a SMU squad riding a three-game winning streak. Tip-off time is slated for 6:00 pm eastern.
We like Vanderbilt in this one. SMU does have a six-game home winning streak and while we don’t have much doubt the Mustangs will win this game 5.5 points is too many for what we feel will be a two-point game. The Commodores allow the seventh fewest points per game and are the better offensive rebounding with exceptional three-point shooting defense. SMU relies heavily on the triple and that along with the Vanderbilt offensive rebounding is where we find the edge. Consider taking the 5.5 points and going with Vanderbilt to cover tonight.
Cash with Flash Saturday CBB Pick: Vanderbilt +5.5 points
We’re limping along with a 38-46-0 record with three plus-money underdogs. It’s been a tough go thus far and we’re more than due to make a big NBA run. We missed on Oklahoma City failing to cover an eleven-point spread.
Memphis Grizzlies vs Dallas Mavericks
Memphis is riding a three-game winning streak and beat the OKC Thunder Thursday night by seventy-three points. Dallas has dropped three of their last four and lost last night at home to the New Orleans Pelicans.
We like Dallas tonight. The Grizzlies are without Ja Morant and while it hasn’t seemed to matter much as they’ve won three straight. Dallas is a good side that has covered the spread in seven of their last eight contests against Western Conference opponents but will be without Luka Doncic tonight. Dallas is middle of the pack in points allowed and has allowed 106 points or less just once in their last five games. That being said this is a Southwest Division contest and Dallas is 6-1 against their division opponents whereas Memphis is just 1-1 against the Southwest Division and that’s where the edge is and they will find a way to cover without Doncic. Consider taking the 1.5 points and going with Dallas to cover tonight.
Cash with Flash Saturday NBA Pick: Dallas Mavericks +1.5 points
Good luck today!
